The LED power supplies of the HLG series by Mean Well Ltd. can be used in a rated performance range of 80~320 W. With input voltages of 90~305 VAC they provide direct current voltages of 12~54 V. They are fitted with an aluminium case and are sealed throughout with a heat-optimised compound. In this manner the protection category IP65 or IP67 regarding water-tightness and dust-protection is achieved.
The power supplies with an efficiency of max. 94 % (standard 80 %) are suitable for a very wide range of uses: interior and outside lighting for buildings, emergency lighting, advertising displays and panels, street lamps, traffic and tunnel signalling systems, designer lamps and illuminated decorations.
Besides the standard functions, such as protection against short-circuit, over-voltage, overload and over-heating, several models are fitted with the “3 in 1” dimmer function. This makes possible easy regulation of the output current by using an analogue/PWM signal or an external resistor.
The user of these models can adjust the output voltage in the range 90~110 % and the output current between 50~100 % directly on the device.
The units fulfil the highest safety standards. They have been granted approval in accordance with the globally recognised standards of TÜV/CB/CE/UL/cUL. These include, among other things, the lighting system standards UL8750, EN61347-1 and EN61347-2-13.
