Your personal data shall be processed for the following purposes: 

  • for the performance of a contract or in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR);

The personal data shall be processed in Switzerland, in the Member States of the EU and the EEA and in the United Kingdom. These countries ensure adequate data protection.

  • in the USA, in Australia: by IT service providers, such as providers of IT systems, infrastructure or cloud services. Where the companies have not joined the (US) Data Privacy Framework, we shall conclude the standard data protection clauses recognised by the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or make certain that appropriate binding company guidelines have been agreed upon. 
  • In the USA, Vietnam, Turkey, China: by our Group companies. Where the companies have not joined the (US) Data Privacy Framework, we shall conclude the standard data protection clauses recognised by the FDPIC. 

Duration of processing 

We shall process your personal data as long as necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes pursued with the processing.  

Your rights  

According to the Data Protection Act, you have the right to access your personal data, the right to rectification or erasure of your personal data, the right to restriction of the processing, the right to withdraw your consent and the right to release or transfer of your data. The law provides that we may restrict your rights in certain cases. 

You shall not have the right to restrict the processing in cases where we process your personal data in order to comply with a statutory provision or to perform the contract. Such restriction would lead to the termination or discontinuation of your contract. 

You may assert your rights with the contact person mentioned above. 

You also have the right to resort to the FDPIC; you may possibly turn to the European supervisory authority, particularly if a Group company in the EU processes your personal data.
