Durable and reliable fanless 600 W power supplies to withstand harsh conditions

As the requirements placed on industrial applications increase, the market demand for power supplies that are capable of working reliably in harsh conditions continues to grow. That’s why PEWATRON is launching Mean Well’s new convection cooled HEP-600 power supply series and HEP-600C charger unit series. These two series are specifically designed to operate with outstanding performance in humid, dusty, oily and high-vibration environments. The HEP series is the ideal solution for powering outdoor equipment or equipment used in difficult environments.

Thanks to its state-of-the-art design, the series have a high working efficiency of up to 96 % and 95.5 % respectively, which allows HEP-600 / HEP-600C to function perfectly in temperatures that range from as low as -40 °C to as high as +70 °C. The series also feature an aluminum case and filling with heat-conductive glue. Other advantages include an LED power on/off indicator and short-circuit, overload, overvoltage and over-temperature protection.

The two series comply with international regulations, including UL, CUL, TUV, CB and CE, ensuring that they are safe to use. Suitable applications for HEP-600 include outdoor telecommunications equipment, electronic signage and billboards, while HEP-600C series is fit for use in electronic transportation vehicles, security systems and more.
