High-precision APB2 analogue pressure sensors with barbed port from Fujikura

PEWATRON has released Fujikura’s APB2 DIP style series of gauge pressure sensors with a barbed port option. The barbed port design improves the overall mechanical stability of the port/hose system. This is especially important for high pressures applied to the ports. The Fujikura pressure sensors can work up to 12 bars of pressure.

The new A series from Fujikura is compatible in footprint and pin configuration with the highly successful F and X series, but with higher total accuracy (+/-1,5 %) and a wider compensated temperature range (0-85 °C). The A series consists of two analogue amplified sensor types, A2 and A3, and one digital sensor type, the A4. The analogue A2 and A3 series is a two-chip system consisting of a sensor chip and an ASIC signal-conditioning chip, which allows digital-analogue signal conditioning. The A2 series is developed for industrial applications in the range 500 mbar … 12 bar, whereas the A3 series is developed for the medical applications below 1 bar.

The standard measurement range is between 0 and 250 mbar and 0 and 10 bar; non-standard ranges are possible on request. The pressure range is configurable as positive, negative or bidirectional gauge and the supply voltage is configurable at 3,0, 3,3 or 5,0 VDC. The pressure sensors are delivered in the usual high quality Fujikura packages comprising tray, tape, reel and stick, according to customer specification.
