Pewatron offers the unique SCA3300-D01 4-axis inclinometer

Four axes are better than three!

Through its technical sales department, Pewatron offers the 4-axis inclinometer SCA3300-D01 with digital output (SPI interface) by Murata. The sensor is based on Murata’s capacitive 3D-MEMS automotive digital platform, in accordance with the AEC-Q100 automotive standard. The sensational self-monitoring of the 3-axis measurement values (XYZ) is only possible through the patented 4-axis design of the measuring cell.

The highly shock-resistant sensor offers the user selectable measurement ranges for the XYZ axes of +/- 1.5g, +/- 3g and +/- 6g and works reliably in a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The power supply can be in a range of 3.0 to 3.6 V with a power consumption of only 1 mA. The SCA3300-D01 stands out for its extensive diagnostic features, robust design, high long-term stability and low noise density of the output signal at just 37 μg/SQRT(Hz).  It comes in a dual flat lead (DFL) package, making it suitable for SMD mounting, with dimensions of 7.0 x 8.6 x 3.3 mm3.

Thanks to its unique features, the SCA3300-D01 is particularly suitable for inclination measurements in the +/- 90° or 360° range and is ideal for applications such as mobile machinery, autonomous driving, forklifts, robotics and much more.

Models and evaluation kits can be ordered from Pewatron.
