The new PEWA3403 transmitter low cost series:

ideal for drinking water applications

Angst+Pfister Sensors and Power's new pressure transmitter series is compact and has a very appealing price tag thanks to its simple design, the production process designed for large volumes and standardised components. The microfused silicon technology used in the transmitters is very well suited for applications involving water – even drinking water. The sensor is also used in coffee machines, for example. As the measuring cell is dry and not oil filled, it is impossible for the medium to become contaminated, even in the event of an error. The parts that come into contact with the medium are made from stainless steel and the seal is made out of NBR.

The series is available from 0–6 bar to 0–20 bar with 1% FS (0–70°C) as standard. The supply voltage is 5 VDC with an output signal of 0.5–4.5 V. The process connection is available with G1/4 or G3/8 threads.

The electronic interface is available as a plug connector or as a cable with open ends. Other customer-specific variants are available on request.
