PEWATRON extends the RSP family of Mean Well with the new generation of 150 W AC/DC low profile single output enclosed type switching power supplies. Compared to the preceding models the height of the RSP-150 series has been reduced by 40 % to 30 mm and the efficiency increased by 3.5-9.5 %.
With up-to-date high performance circuit topology and active PFC the excellent efficiency is 90 % high so that the units can be used under full load under free air convection cooling from -30 °C to +40 °C or +50 °C ambient temperature and even up to +70 °C with derating. Other built-in functions include remote ON/OFF control, protection against short circuit, overload, over voltage and over temperature. Every series complies with the ITE power supply requirements per UL, cUL, TÜV, CCC, CB, the CE regulations is certified according to TUV EN61558-1 and EN61558-2-16, which can fulfil the household appliance requirements in the European market. Applications include industrial automation systems, mechanical and electrical equipment, household appliances (vending machines, coffee machines etc.) and instruments or any system that requires 1U low profile height.
The RSP-series offers now models from 150 W to 3000 W.
