Pewatron to become Angst+Pfister Sensors and Power on 1st March 2021

Pewatron AG and its subsidiary, Pewatron Deutschland GmbH, sell sensor solutions, power supplies, power electronics and drive solutions to industrial and medical technology customers worldwide. Both companies have been part of the Angst+Pfister Group for many years. This successful affiliation will be emphasised and further developed under the umbrella of one brand.

Sensor and power solutions have always been an integral part of the Angst+Pfister Group’s business activities. The range of solutions offered by Pewatron is essentially aimed at the same base  of customers. The growing trend of even higher degrees of integration between sensors, sensing materials and electronics makes a common approach between the two brands sensible and will generate more value for the collective customer base.

At the same time, the close cooperation between the engineering teams of the Angst+Pfister Group and Pewatron will also become much more visible to customers. By drawing on the combined pool of expertise in elastomer-based materials and sensors, it will be possible to develop highly innovative sensor solutions. ‘Sensing materials for the benefit of our customers are becoming a reality,’ added Röttinger.

The Sensors and Power division will be integrated into the Angst+Pfister website in the coming months, and the products will be added to the Angst+Pfister Group’s online shop APSOparts.com. 

Although the Pewatron name and email addresses will change, the contact persons in the Angst+Pfister Sensors and Power team will remain the same.
